Hello everyone. I was talking with Dominic yesterday (Dr. Dominic Briscomb; he is looking after Athlon for me) about injuries in climbers and how it correlates with training. We both completed degrees exercise physiology before starting Osteopathy, and hence the inclusion of training methods. I am not sure of how much interest there would be, but we were thinking of doing a seminar covering this topic: principally based around the idea of training smartly and avoiding injury. It is something that comes up in practice all the time. Most of these cases are individually tailored at the time, as they revolve around an existing injury. It would ,however, be very easy to lecture on these as a pre-injury way of training; things to avoid, misconceptions, etc.
What do people think? Thought I would float the idea here first to gauge interest. I am guessing there would be about a $10 charge to cover costs, but that is all.
