With all this talk of grading routes etc. its probably a dangerous thing to then go and compare bouldering grades with route grades (see the other thread for the extended arguement / opinion regarding routes).
Yes the V +21 does hold true, HOWEVER! applying this directly from routes to boulder problems does not always compute. Boulder problems generally consist of a "few" individual moves (generally harder than those found on routes). Routes typically consist of "many" moves at a lesser level of intensity or difficulty - its just that linking "many" moves results a different feel and hence type of fatigue etc.
Trying to translate from route grade to V grade is just not valid. A route of say 28 will not include V7 climbing... perhaps more likely some V4 sections with other bits of V1-2. To put it another way, a route graded 24 with a true V2 type crux would probably feel pretty hard for the grade.
