It would have to be the best year climbing I've had. In the 12 months since the 10 year break I have used the gear I brought 10 yrs ago from a 'art' visit to Araps then a 'visit to the mt shop, met more climbers, brought more gear, climbed real rock, found my untouched Araps guide on my bookshelf whilst having a coffee on my b'day, named new routes, found every local rock I could, was under employed, my 2nd boy Silva turned 1and my 4yr old climbed and named his first route(and gets a harness and 'sticky shoes' for xmas..shh.), met gym builders and shop owners, blown the mind of a pom and I'm getting some leave for Araps as a Christmas present! Not bad for a mid-life crises.
