I'm not sure that is correct. The original ANU wall was simply inset bricks to varied widths. The college wall used holds that were cemented into place. The ANU wall was then converted to a similar style in the early nineties. The ANU then purchased one of the first AME walls.
I cant ever recall hearing Neil's name mentioned in relation to the ANU. I should add that I was heavly involved with the ANUMC and the climbing walls in the nineties.
