was at the You You's at the bottom of Big Rock when couple of guys and a girlfriend started to set up an abseil. They obviously did not measure the rope because when they threw it off the cliff one end only reached half way down. They had no knots in the ends or any backups. The first guy without checking anything started to abseil down. They seemed quite upset when I called out to suggest they check their rope. We left quickly after finishing our climb before anything else went wrong
