| My partner and myself were climbing a Big Rock at the You Yangs. I was belaying at the bottom of the cliff and noticed that a couple of guys were setting up a abseil next to us. They proceed to throw the rope off the cliff. Only one end hit the ground with the other end only half way down because they had not measured the half way point of their rope. A guy started to abseil down until I yelled at him to stop because not only did the rope not reach the ground but their had not put knots in the ends. They stopped and fixed the rope and we got out of there before they did something else stupid |
