The videos thread is a bit of a mess and an absolute dog to find anything in.
Does anyone else think it might be worth spinning up a separate forum just for videos?
That way each video could have it's own thread and the relevant discussion would be retained with the videos?

Yeah Plus one, great idea.
I love the Vid's on Chockstone. I think it's also important to type the video name into the post etc so it can be found via search.
Cheers
Chris.

You can search for the video ID from the URL via the search function on the forum page, change the drop down to ALL instead of Topic.
While this works, searching all the text of every post in the DB seems pretty heavy handed though which is why the idea of a separate forum popped into my head.

Agreed.

I am not sure if'/how it can be done on Chockstone, but know of successful examples on other websites, and it is indicative of the fact generally that Chockstone is still growing; ... so the problem (unless dealt with), won't go away and will likely get harder to deal with in the meantime?

Relevant discussion?
Is this a new way of describing thread drift/hijack??

I was thinking of videos like the recent Ceuse Black Bean video. It spawned 3 pages of chatter, two threads, and three separate postings in the videos thread. I didn't really see the discussion as thread drift/hijack, but it did make the video itself hard to track down for those that wanted to.
