Hey guys,
Just wondering which type of adhesive people could recommend to repair a thermarest.
I have the repair patches, but no longer have the adhesive glue that the kit came with as it's been used.
Any adhesives that people can recommend easily available from Bunnings or somewhere like Spotlight?
Cheers,
John K.

McNett AquaSeal.
Was recommended to me by the guy handling thermarest warranty claims etc.
I had a small pin-prick hole in mine and it did the job nicely.

I concur with the recommendations for McNett Aquaseal and Seam Grip. They're pretty much the same product - a urethane adhesive - in different packaging, so just use whichever you first find available. You're much more likely to find them at outdoors stores (or SCUBA stores in the case of Aquaseal) than you are at Bunnings or Spotlight.

Interesting. I have used tenacious tape in the bush and then put sikaflex, same gunk over the top of the patch when got home and its worked. I, m back to using a foam pad.
