Thanks for this thorough report on the reverse impact feature M9, I think you weren't so sure about it in on first impression. Is it OK if I publish this on climbdesign.co?
I've been getting more feedback lately that will inform the evolution of LittleHammer; Pi had prototype 6 at Dog Rock recently and told me about his experience. Also John from NZ has emailed. Not much from the Northern Hemisphere yet as they are still wintering… all those media types who promised a review if I sent them a free one, dammit!
Version 1.1 mostly addresses production and assembly issues I discovered doing the first run of 200, although V1.1 has a tapered end to get to really small RPs after a few people pointed that out.
The next versions will address user issues as they come up so I really appreciate people like yourself who take the time to get used to LittleHammer on some climbs and then share their thoughts. Cheers

True; as my perspective was developed over years of using a funkness device and knowing how much effort even then that some aid gear takes in retrieving. It was because of my initial skepticism during its design phase re feedback of that LittleHammer ability, that I thought you'd be interested in my most recent experience with it.
I'm still considering filing the reverse notch out a frag deeper, to make it more positive when held at less than ideal angle for task, due close vicinity rock features obstructing the exercise.

Yes, go for your life if you think it useful.
