Found at Thompson's Point on the weekend, one item of climbing gear which does not belong at a sport crag (or anywhere else). Let me know what the item is, and write a short paragraph describing why it's so stupid, how you could easily substitute other gear instead of carrying this chunk of shit, and an apology for being such a numpty, and you'll get your gear back (your dignity, on the other hand, is probably lost for ever)

On the guessing game theme, I also found something at thommos on the wknd..... Its actually half decent so if you're missing something send me a PM describing what it is and - if we get a match I'll happily hand it over!

A Dangerouser Cliffs t-shirt?
I'd never wear one as the concept is stupid, but couldn't resist hiding some numbty's when he took it off while warming up on a boulder there.
You can keep it, as I doubt anyone would own up to losing it.

An Edlerid Eddy? I reckon they're too grabby and they are dumb to belay with. The only saving grace is the almost chartreuse, green handle;)
If it wasn't an Eddy was it one of those red ball gags Marcellus Wallace wore in Pulp Fiction?

A rappel rack
It was so stupid to bring it in the first place that I couldn't bring myself to carry it back out; however, as Day One Hero is that stupid, I'll have it back, thanks.

You must have been overseas when that thread came up. ODH missed his chance to get you to pick some up duty free for him...
;-)

The short summary thread version of selected posts follows...
It would only take an hour.
I will make some.

My first guess of a daisychain was taken, so I'll go for a PAS or similar - the linked loops of webbing/dyneema, Eddie.
