Found a bouldering pad at mt stapylton today in a pretty remote location. Definitely didn't seem to have been left there deliberately. Let me know if yours?
Make/color/location??

Cheers,
Phil

So... I'm pretty sure thats my DMM High ball pad. Is it black and yellow and found in the deep crevas on the way to the ground control caves? I accidentally dropped it in there on sunday the 30th on my way back from the caves. I intended to return for it on Thursday the 3rd with rope and anchor. Is it still down there ? or have you got it out? Let me know what's up, i would love to get my pad back.

Thanks
Chris

p.s. I honestly can't believe anyone saw it down there. very cool.

Nope not down there mate, I grabbed it. It was definitely a little tricky to get down and back out again. Are you based in Melbourne? I can drop it off at the gym for you?

I reckon a 'Philby' is a sub species of the classic Aussie Phil.

Sub species seldom found in low lying areas. More commonly found frequenting rocky outcrops and cliffs. Fairly adept at scaling seemingly impossible heights and often seen in precarious positions. Largely nomadic and tend to congregate in small groups. In some places regarded as feral and should be left alone, do not feed or attempt to pat.

Hey phil_nev, any chance picking up that pad today or tomorrow? Planning on getting out of town friday afternoon and could really use it, versus having to buy a brand new one. My number's 041 548 4566 give me a call if there's a chance we can make a swap for some "Philby".

Say what?! you're the only reason anyone reads that pile of informative, well researched, polarizing, fine example of ghetto journalism, hunk of shite blog.

What will happen to the A-Team?
