Does anyone climb around Newman?
I'm hoping to have a play around poon hill and Kuba's crag.
Unfortunately it will only be after work over the next week 2-7 February

I'm bringing up some gear and will have a 4wd for the week.

Hey bro, I'm in Port Hedland so holler if you're ever around Newman again and I'll see if it slots in to my R&R break. Haven't been down there so keen to check it out.

If you've got any topos or beta for anything there let me know, I'l be interested to see whats down there.

Hi Mate,

I found a copy of Northern Rock, the 20 year old guide book to the area.
Poon hill was easy to find, I have a few photos. I didn't do any climbing as I've heard solo climbing lacks the safety aspect by just a little.

I didn't make it to the next one called kubas crag because of an embarrassing incident with the 4WD and some mud but I'll see if I can get a day off if I get sent up there again.
