So I'm in the Mountains and the car is full! Thanks everyone for your calls/text.
Now I'm wondering the best way/route to get there, Blue Mts to frog that is?
I never trust google, it's saying go through Gloucester and Armidale this doesn't seem right to me. What ways have you taken before and round about how long did it take?
Cheers

Whether you are going from Glenbrook or Blackheath, Whereis says 12+hrs via M7 - Newcastle freeway - New England Hwy - Tamworth - Armidale.
Travelling via Lithgow - Castlereagh Hwy - Mudgee - Tamworth - Armidale is 50km shorter from upper Mts.
Not able to help with delivery of a playboat kayak Blueys - Wangaratta on your return, then?

If you are in a hurry go straight up the New England Hwy. The Gloucester way starts off the Pacific Hwy and ends up on the NEH. Nice way to go, very scenic, but more like something you would do for a change if you do the NEH a lot or are not in a hurry.
