Here's my thoughts on an 8 week trip in the UK and climbing at Fairhead, Peak Gritstone, Pembroke, Gogarth, North Wales and Cornwall.

Did you only visit Bosigran in Cornwall, Gerry? There are some fantastic routes at Sennen and Chair Ladder (the latter would have definitely offered lots at the grades you seem to be focussing on) and other spots that I am sure you would have enjoyed. Sounds like you have been unlucky with the weather though. Which makes me asking why you didn't travel to Scotland rather a pointless query. A shame, travelling all the way from Tasmania and missing out on Scotland. Scottish climbing is fabulous if you're a trad merchant and prefer bigger stuff. Still, looks like your next phase will provide you with plenty of vertical mileage. Happy travels.
