I'm going in two weeks for a night climb, but that doesn't help either. Why do you want to know?

I think it is still there. They haven't torn down the north jawbones have they? I love that cliff.

The Jawbones are still there - much of the pine plantation isn't - just watch for logging trucks.

If logging has caused the the road to be closed there is always the back way in, going off the road between Buxton and Marysville.

Define beginners climbs... grade or able to set up topropes?

Lots of classic easier slab multipitch climbs. Toproping is more limited due to many climb lengths.

There is good though scattered bouldering around Sugarloaf

Did Junglescope the other day. Very pleasant. Looked cleaner than I remember it.

dude - just do Spiegal's Overhang. 3 pitch grade 10 - its fine. Not at all strenuous or intimidating.

Sounds to me like bl@ke is not yet experienced in setting up belays, and is therefore right to be cautious about multipitch; as it does not take much height combined with a mistake to create a bad accident.

He may be better off considering visiting the place in the company of an experienced partner.

There's some nice single pitch climbs at the right hand end. There's one well protected Gr10 but you might want to top rope the others.
