Pyramid hill.
above carpark, large boulder with detached block left of boulder. R of block, in shade, is a corner with a handy fisty crack, first half off vertical, 2nd half overhung. 12-15m? and a 12 - 16 grade depending on the amount of use made of a back step onto the block. I was self belay leading w/- prussic. i chose the backstep onto the block once i reached the overhang whenever placing pro, when had to keep stepping back to haul the rope through the prussic. there's a nice looking arete inside the block, and a face to the right of this as you look down from above.

Sorry, no I don't recognise the climb.

The Barnett System does this.
There are accounts of prusiks near burning through on long falls ...
If I was using this system I'd have two prusiks deployed, one being a backup.

Geez i wouldn't call it a local crag but if you from shep then i suppose its relatively close. I have driven past Pyramid hill numerous times and stoped for a quick boulder on occasion. Should get some pics next time, could be developed more but who could be assed driving all that way.!

I've done a couple of problems on the 'cracked' face boulder just above the car park which were okay... Some more potential for bouldering around past the golf club house and near the one listed climb, but not enough to make a repeat visit.

Yes why would I drive all that way when I could climb the mighty "Mount Meg" only 30 mins away !!
