Hi Folks, just a couple of quick questions regarding access in to warragul rocks.
is the drive along the dirt roads that lead up to the rock face really ok for the family wagon or is it a 4 wheel drive job?. the chockstone guide suggests that its gets a little bit rough towards the end.
any info on where to actual park would be good too.
cheers

I've driven up from the west (off the Hume, up Ennis Road) in a Corolla. It was a good dirt road, don't
know if the winter rain would have affected it too badly. Parking is easy. You've got there when you
can't go any further - the road deteriorates significantly past the access track turn off. The access track
itself is blocked by a cable and concrete blocks that would stop a tank; the cliff is about 100m walk
away.

We were there yesterday. The road in has one short rocky section, probably OK in a 2WD but I wouldn't be taking a Lotus Esprit up there.
FYI the directions in from Strath Creek are: Follow King Parrot Creek Rd (right at main T intersection near the pub). After 8.5km from the T, turn sharp left onto Fairview Rd (dirt). Cross bridge and swing left, road soon bends right and heads uphill. After 6.3km bend right onto East Falls Rd (signposted).
After another 4.2km you reach a turnoff on the right which is chained off with concrete barriers either side. This is near -37.1401, 145.2065.
