I know this has been raised before very briefly, but, does anyone have specifics on the Islamabad
bouldering area at Arapiles? For instance, problem names, FAs? Am thinking of making a wee pdf guide
of the good bouldering at Araps that isn't in the Mentz guide.

I found it, Dave Jones did most (all) the problems there before I got back to Arapiles...
He reads this site occassionally so may respond or email him...

I thought you did the easier line in the middle the first time you went there? Either way, at least you have
a whole crag at arapiles name after you...not many people can claim that.
I did most of the rest of the problems....though there are a couple of lines which, to my knowledge, still
havent been done.
Omax,
If you've got a photo of it I can put some lines and names on it for you.

I can't remember what I did or didn't do Dave. It was after all at least ~14 years ago ;-)

Though is the answer to the name yes or no? When I heard the name it was given I guessed it was a connection to my find. Were the other problems at least okay or should Islamabad fall back into obscurity (did it even ever become popular anyway?) I was excited about it at the time and had planned to return.

I think its a pretty good little wall....not so good for summer as it gets the sun most of the day...In
winter though its great... A nice flat rock landing....facing out over the top of tiger wall it has to be the
most scenic bouldering spot at the mount and theres never anyone else there....Its like a good version
of the Torture chamber (with better rock, amazing view, no people, easier approach and less of the
damp stinkyness that you get at the chamber).

Its right up the top, best appoached from the disabled lookout. you walk along as though you were going
to the bluffs and then after a couple of hundred meters its down on your left. Near the little gully with
