G'day skegly,
The Parks Victoria website lists the closures;
http://m.parkweb.vic.gov.au/safety/fire-affected-areas
... Including Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park, and even though I am half local to it with reasonably good maps at hand, the way they have listed the closed sections is a little ambiguous in some instances, as the Chiltern-Mt Pilot Park is a scattered affair containing a number of sections...
As best I can determine, the actual climbing areas at Mt Pilot (effectively surrounding the fire tower on the highest point of Mt Pilot), are open.
Having said that, a lot of country on its northern slopes and to its west is burnt out and closed while final blacking out of the now 'contained' fire continues.
Regarding access from Albury, and for that matter Beechworth and Chiltern, the main roads are now open.
Re your other post looking for climbers, sorry but am unavailable till about/on/after the 31st.
