Looking for some input on a not too adventurous preferably clean big wall adventure somewhere in the world.
Whilst I havent been on any bigwalls yet, I want to get psyched for something and prepare/practise for it.
I've climbed all-over Australia and the USA. Yosemite and its classic routes such as Halfdome and the Nose is the obvious answer. But I cant helping remembering the cluster f@ck that the valley oozes.
I'm moving to the bluies January next year with aims of getting much fitter/quicker and refining aid and wall techniques. Hope to get down and do ozy at buffalo as well.
Looking forward to some peoples thoughts.
Cheers

I think the access to all the awesome stuff in the valley far outweighs the effort of dealing with the tourons. Squamish is pretty awesome for medium sized walls, some awesome granite to be had. It gets pretty crowded on the classics too though. Tassie has plenty of awesome adventures to be had that get your skills up for walls and adventurous climbing spots. Well worth a summer trip.

Yosemite big walls only clusterfuch if you do the same five walls that everyone else does. There is a fat book of aid routes to the valley, simply pick something else. A great place to learn because there are lots of nice people to help you along the journey and team up with.
Zion also very good and less crowded.
Big walling in the bluies looks horrendous. Good luck and if you survive please post photos and a trip report here.

Thanks for the input. I've climbing in Squamish, great place but not exactly big wall'ing. I guess you cant really beat the valley.
