I think I can safely speak on behalf of all Burnley users that we really appreciate the fact that you have donated your free time to get it up and running again!!

Tough day Dan? It looks rad and we'll have to get down there for a session. How far away are you from Burnley?

Looks good - any plans to build one in Sydney?

I thought there was enough real rock around Sydney for Bouldering? In Melbourne its pretty much this or Bluestone bridges to choose between.

For those that need directions, the map in here is still valid but the route information isn't, you'll have to use your route reading skills:
http://www.chockstone.org/Melbourne/BurnleyGuidebook.pdf

It's not an awesome map, south it up.

Here's a google maps link that should point to the car park mentioned in the above:

http://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=-37.830599,145.003266&hl=en&ll=-37.831124,144.998932&spn=0.010389,0.023282&sll=-37.83065,145.003245&sspn=0.010389,0.015106&z=16

From the car park, walk towards the river, then turn right, walk across the pontoon bridge and you'll see the walls.

Why do we need one...we have a thousand indoor gyms and even better a thousand spots to actually boulder on real rock all around Sydney

Bit slow getting my pics organised, but for the record:

9am Saturday morning, the Walls, rebuilt, repainted, clean and empty, waiting...

Bringing in all the holds and equipment

The reset begins

Work in progress

6pm Saturday, end of a long but good day, the routes are ready. It's dark outside, but we have lights!

Thanks to the setters and helpers for all their work.

And a huge, huge thanks to you Ben! I can testify to the fact that Ben has been on the case every few weeks, hassling in the most polite way as only Ben can. My inbox would be regularly full of cc'd emails chasing up progress with those in charge of the works. Keeping his cool when his contact person changed about 4 times and having to recap events to those newly in charge. Big pat on the back!!

very impressed, that's a massive amount of work.
You must be so strong after a day setting...
