I did contribute something positive... a genuine laugh according to Mattjr.

If you wanna climb that shit Paul you're gonna have to do better than your 'turdboard'!

Edit: I too am not convinced the tunnel was formed by millions of years of water erosion alone

My two bits on this one - if all you want is power you need only three things - a hang/chinup/campus board, a weight belt and a lobotomy.

On the other hand some of my fondest climbing memories involve the combination of my unnatural hip flexibility and climbing with someone with double my power. If all you want is big number grades and power you go for steepness in a woody. If you prefer lower grades and making lobotomized powerturds cry then you go for one likes pauls.

mattjr, lets see your bouldering wall. Unless you have built something better then please refrain from criticising and using nasty names for other peoples work.

ODH's true intentions are finally revealed. I'd refrain from getting in the photo as well ODH, we won't be able to see past your gigantic head....

hero my intention was not to offer woody building advice but to hang shit on you and simey. However, now I look back at what I wrote I realize I forgot simey as he could never be accused of being a lobotomized powerturd, lobotomized maybe, but he's always been weak as a kitten.

Anyway simeys ideal woody is a bluestone bridge so I can't see how he is qualified to comment.

All I know is that traversing bluestone walls is a lot more relevant to my climbing than lying around on a mattress looking at my woody.

Stugang, if only you had embraced the Church of Bluestone then you might have waltzed up Great Wall at Moonarie instead of thrashing around for so long.

You couldn't handle my woody, it's just like ODH's 'Mine is better, by f---ing miles!'

Oh, by the way I saw a hilarious film this evening.. any takers on the title??
hint: it was an Australian production!

Well if that is what you think simey shouldn't you be going into bat for paul?

I bet his wall has more in common with your beloved church of bluestone than anything odh is going to post.

While everyone is flopping out their woody... Here's mine.....

It's big...some would say huge.... oh and my bouldering cave is adequate

work in progress still needs the side verticle wall added.... warming up on this bugger is not so fun.... once your warmed up.... it's awesome...

Damo... A few good points in there... I would like to take the wall all the way accross the entire garage and trust me it has been thought about.... Cost and space are the issue....

There is 3k of materials in that bad boy, marine ply on the roof etc.....

I like the feeling of a possible "axing" on my problems....

Slabs and tiny face holds are my weakness, plus when we have friends over the verticle wall is something my mates can jump on without nailing themselves...

I appreciate the feedback.....maybe i'll recess part of the verticle wall to make it "slightly off verticle" ; )

If you wern't in the ACT i'd have you over for a critics assessment....

I am surprised you are so keen on steep walls, given that the ACT doesn't have any overhangs ; ) (waits for flaming) ; )

Since we're on the topic of backyard constructions, have you seen doubleshort's 90ft sloper campus board before?

I doubt youv'e hurt his feelings. Experts have tried and failed. So I doubt a try hard like you could upset him.
By the way, have a nice day O.D.H.

Nope. Been busy with work and planing the next phase of the woody.

Hay dalai

Hero specificly directed the word arsehole toward a member of the chockstone fraternity.

Surely that deserves a banning?
