It took me a while due stopping the vid was a hassle to get the right spot. Eventually I got more than one profile angle, bunged them up side by side, and there is more than a passing resemblance, ...however at obviously different times and place.

I wonder what non-climbing tourists who stay there think?
Perhaps they can be forgiven for not knowing about alleged climbing cultural traditions?

Even 'unaware climbers' who like their quiet sleep (visiting for the first time?), may not know of the Pines party reputation?

Agreed.

Agreed. It comes across as a slur on internet forums in general, and since is registered on this site what does that imply?

... Queer history; trust the japs to get around censorship laws in that manner.

I have no problem with CJ. Admittedly, I've only ever met him (you) twice, once the night before
serpentine and recently in the pines. I reckon my tent was about 20 meters away from the tarp palace
and the brawl, and I was woken up by a very good rendition of Dennis Learys 'Asshole', complete with full
volume spoken word performance (/rant) by John. I fell asleep again before the police arrived (did they?)

There was a Mr Floppy album called "The Unbearable Lightness of Being a Dickhead". Unfortunately it was a
lot more entertaining than this guy at Goatfest. He had the last part down but not the lightness.

Are you people serious??? There are a host of other places to camp at Araps. You should know to camp at the gums or the walk in campsite. If its not someone like CJ, its a uni group or a bunch of loud hippies or you old farts with your hexes already on in camp at 7am. Lighten up and enjoy the Arapiles atmosphere. After all, that is what it's famous for...
PS. CJ, keep up the good work, though if you wake me up in the grampians, its a one way ticket to choke town...

people should know that there's always some selfish dickhead around the pines. doesn't mean he's not a selfish dickhead. Also, if you don't show any remorse for drunken loutish behaviour, you're asking for someone to piss in your drinking bottle.

He was pretty light in his feet when he was dry humping the chairs.

Can't really understand why he would be so proud and spraying about 'yet another' ascent of Serpentine .
.
If he wants a 'real' tick to brag about - I'd suggest he step up and try Shai Hulud . . . or just shut up . . .

I say again in the words of Billie Holiday " strange fruit hanging from the...."

Mmmm does the following fit??

The term ‘mania’ is used to describe
the most severe state of extreme
elation and overactivity. A small
number of people with bipolar mood
disorder experience only episodes
of mania and do not experience
depressive episodes.
Common symptoms of mania include
varying degrees of the following.
• Elevated mood - the person feels
extremely high, elated, and full of
energy. The experience is often
described as feeling on top of the
world and invincible.
• Increased energy and over-activity.
• Reduced need for sleep.
• Rapid thinking and speech -
thoughts are more rapid than
usual. This can lead to the person
speaking quickly and jumping from
topic to topic.
• Recklessness - this can be the result
of the person’s reduced ability to
foresee the consequences of their
actions, such as spending large
amounts of money buying items
that are not really needed.
• Grandiose plans and beliefs - it is
common for people experiencing
mania to believe they are unusually
talented or gifted, or are kings,
film stars or prime ministers for
example. Often religious beliefs
intensify or people believe they are
an important religious figure.
• Lack of insight - people
experiencing mania may not
recognise that their behaviour is
inappropriate, although they may
understand that other people
see their ideas and actions as
inappropriate, reckless, or irrational.
•Mania is diagnosed when
symptoms have been present for
a week or more.

wow you gonna become an armchair psychiatrist and bypass the 12 years required to
become one? Did u just pull that of wikipedia? how clever of you....

I find it a very low act of passing judgment on someone's mental condition via nothing
more than the internet. So far you have demonstrated yourself as very immature,
abusive and ignorant.

I suggest you shut up and go away or play nice.

Its been a while since Iv'e seen these photos and i'm still spun out by Daves first accent and any other nutter that gets to the top alive. It' nothing more than a slightly congealed sandpit! I suppose it would be useless trying to rub the loose sand off of the holds as all you'd do is wipe the hold away.
Big up and much respect

Is that a judgement? And a Judgement on my mental capacity. Isn't that what you are complaining
about.

Takes one to know one.... oh i am sorry that was immature of me.
how do you know what my background or training is ?
i find it interesting that people on these forums pass judgement on others by doing exactly what they
complain others are doing.

Oh dear an internet forum where immaturity, abuse and ignorance is displayed. Is that a first??

>I suggest you shut up and go away or play nice.

Oh i am wounded!!!! Is that your best shot???
How about no i won't.
Whats next? Pretty please go away and play nice.

Chockstone is a moderated forum/site.
From what I have seen over some time now, it generally doesn't get too far out of control.
