perhaps "festively plump"? (better than "morbidly obese")

I am pleased to say that I 'lost' 5 kg on my last wall climb!
... Trouble is, ... that I am in the process of putting it back on again!

Well, you must be stoked that no one bought your Big Fatty wall harness then ; p

Peter from Qld bought it ...

The smaller size harness is now at it's minimum limit, so perhaps I should concentrate on stabilising my weight ...
... instead of enjoying my alcohol* intake?
Heh x 8!

(*ti will be pleased ~> as is now a convert to wall-scotch !!!)

stoked that despite the windy conditions, lack of experience and preparation I managed to get a couple of days of winter climbing in up in the cairngorms. The ice was in good condition too!

Scotch is an important safety device in all outdoor activities. We had a bottle of Ben Nevis 15yo for a while; the whole bottle was drunk in canyons. One of my mates admitted that he kept suggesting doing a canyon rather than climbing so that we could keep drinking the scotch.

Agreed.

It also keeps snakes and other undesirable entities away!

I don't know if you're going to fit in down here Evan - unless of course 'a while' means a long evening :-)

Any way, to get completely back off topic (though it is about being stoked about the crag) - good guide and info available on the CCA site for Mt Coree:

http://www.canberraclimbing.org.au/coree--hollywood.aspx

Here's a close-up of what the rock looks like:

I'm stoked because I'm days away from flying to Tassie and by this time next week I will have spent four days climbing at Ben Lomond which means I won't be able to use my bloody fingertips or rest my flesh-stripped arms on the desk to type.

Of course it may have rained so I'll be able to type because I'll probably have lobbed into Coles Bay where the granite is softer than feathers - compared to dolerite.

I missed this first time round. Flagrant nerdiness, I like it.

Oy simey. Are you (not?) enjoying the sillyness in relation to how many ways one can present a 'heh'?
I certainly got a chuckle from the Capt's contribution!
... and remember, heh spelt backwards is still heh!

Watch it and weep Evan :-)

Good comedy even if it isn't real.

What? No this isn't OT, it's the officially stoned thread isn't it? No?
