Im stoked that I went for my first climb in 6 weeks today after the injury and both the shoulder and finger are feeling great.

Even more stoked that Olbert and I are leaving for Arapiles on Thursday for 2 weeks of pure climbing pleasure.

I'm stoked that people like (user id) prb are still climbing after having experienced horrie accidents during their climbing career.

Also stoked to still be climbing myself after being around/doing it for a while, and it just keeps getting better...

Since Dave so helpfully logged in last night and I dont know how to log out I am using his profile.

Olbert says: Im stoked that today we arrive at Araps! Not so stoked for the 7 hour long drive that Dave cant help me with cos he is still on his L's:( Also not so stoked about the fact that my phones screen buggered up and I although technically I can send and recieve messages I cant actually read them...or know who they are from. Though still...stoked for Araps!!!

I'm stoked that in about an hour I'm driving up to the Blueys for the first time in ages.

I'd also like to take this moment to congratulate Monique and Simon.

Totally stoked to submit my Thesis for marking today. Cut it down from 33K to 25k words in four days. I
wonder what I was doing all those months writing the extra words. Cliffs here I come.

Stoked I'm in the Solomon Islands. Not stoked 'cause there is no surf at the moment. My first climb has been to the top of a Beach Almond tree to lop off branches that were interfering with my father-in-laws wireless internet connection. I got attacked by about 2000 Green Ants (bite, but no sting). It is not fun trying to re-tie your harness knot for the lower off with ants biting your eyelids - aaaaarg!!

I'm stoked it's Christmas!!

And that logging in I see there's 11,866 new posts Awesome. Can anybody recommend the best five? I think it's been over six months since my last login, last i recall I was falling off a 19 in February heat at Nowra..

Stoked that I'm still in the Solomons. I've had a bit of work on reorganising the UNICEF computer network in Gizo, but bummed that the surf finally decided to come up whilst I've had work on. I've found some great bouldering here, but have'nt been able to get out of family / work commitments to roam too far and wide. I've been hanging out and working with Peter Wopereis (known here as Two Metre Peter), the brother of the late Anton Wopereis who was a well known Kiwi mountaineer - he's lent me a great book of NZ mountaineering stories and is somewhat of a climber himself.

The most route finding I've been doing - which path to take around all those puddles without getting the sandals muddy??

Morning surf check on the side of the road

My desire - Kolombangara. Old shield volcano. 1800 metres from sea to summit.

Good to see you are still stoked Capt. [BTW you just got the 500th 'stoked post'!]
Re the

I am stoked after just spending a very enjoyable sojourn on Buffalo Nth Wall, with excellent company, and also generally meeting / climbing with new folk up there in recent times.
