I am stoked that I am currently at Arapiles. I have one more day of climbing left before I have to get back to the uni grind:(. Stoked that I flashed It'll Never Fly on the Flight Deck! Also stoked that I finally got on all those things that I never got on the last few trips ie Scorpian Crack, Euridice, Checkmate!

Stoked! I lobbed onto a 4 camalot and it held! Quite normal thing to happen you say? Yes, true, but this was my first fall onto gear so the stokedness is quite valid (not quite so stoked that I blew the onsight). Hoorah for cams!

Hyena. POSSIBLE BETA WARNING (I dont really think so...) At the crux. I stuck my fist where the #3 camalot should have gone (hence why I hit the #4). I got my legs up and faffed around pumped out trying to find a good left hand, what I found was not to my liking, next thing I know the fist pops and... stoked! (edit: probably just good beta for how to fall off hyena)

Hyena has a massive reputation for spitting off punters.
I once popped off about 3 cm away from the finishing jug absolutely spent!

Stoked to have a good weekend without climbing. It rained a LOT down here. I didn't mind. We bought chickens instead, in sad contrast to Wombat's Dog. May he rest in peace.

Part of my theory for Happiness in Life is to have a hobby for any type of weather. Sun, 13-24, go climbing. Raining? No worries, it's good for the garden. Too windy? No worries, I've invested in wind farms and taken up kite flying. Snowing? Derr, go XC skiing. This was a good weekend for the garden.

Extra stoke on top of all that, I'm going to the Wolgan over the Horses LWE. Steve has big plans of a Whiskey Enhanced summitting of Old Baldy, via the Pulpit into the Amphitheatre. I'm going regardless of the weather this time. Love the Wolgan.

Yes again, I am stoked. Schadenfreud was word of the weekend as Andrew and I
desperately tried to keep our dignity in the face of bowel emptying fear. The belay never got
bored and the leader never felt safe.

A special shout out to the hard trad climbers who took their shirts off to display their clam
white bellies and lobster red shoulders. They certainly gave me the perspective I needed to
get off the ground at Omaha Beach. Slip Slap Slop, boys.

Yee Haw!
