If you take my daughters age off mine, 3 times, you get close to the grade I can climb at ie 21..now I also now feel old.

18 and loving it. Climbing 24 max indoor, 21 max outdoor. So that means I can climb my age plus a third... hehe and definitely cannot boulder my age. Funny that - I boulder a third of my age max.
Climb my age plus a third.
Boulder a third of my age.

Update:
18 years old.. Outdoors can lead 22's and breaking into the 23 barrier. Indoors... *shrugs shoulders* I dunno...
Leading outdoors is no longer a project... Claiming more 23's.. Now that's my project!

I'm 67 and not quite leading my age. I started climbing when I was 19 and there were no climbs at that standard then in the Blue Mountains. In fact the Ewbank grading system had not yet been introduced. In those days probably the hardest climb around in the Sydney climbing scene was graded HVS.

42 now, was quite comfortably climbing my age when I was, ahem, coerced into stopping 17 years ago, now ... not even close. My son, on the other hand is smashing it - TR'ing 20's at age 12. Think I'll just live vicariously through him now. Much easier that way.
