Coxy himself didn't show he sent a lady by the name of Mel to shoot the segment. Mel was extremely tanned, and left us ladies fearing we'll look like ghosts!!

Have you seen that video that was floating round the 'net of that "Underworld" route in Arco? (& the strange looking pastey white guy who climbs 9a?). that's what comes from hanging out under bridges away from the sun...

Don't worry about the fake tan Jac, I'd rather see muscle definition and technique on a bouldering wall, or real rock for that matter.

Incidentally, I am particularly pasty this year on account of spending lots of time under the freeway building Burnley :-)

T'was worth it though.

Underground now has a permentant encampment built underneath it. I didn't spot the pasty freak - but i certianly spotted his matress and cooking pots!

Well after not having touched any form of outdoor/indoor rock in the last two years, I thought it was about time that I got my ass into gear and start climbing again. Since all the gyms were closed and I couldn't get away outdoors, I thought I would check out the Burnley Wall yesterday - and let me just say I was really impressed.

I'm sure you've had heaps of positive feedback already, but I'd just thought I'd say you guys have done an awesome job! The walls are great and I can only imagine how much work it must have taken - hats off to Jacqui (I hope your trip overseas is going well) and everyone else involved in the project.

I had a great time fooling around and trying to get back into the swing of things, though I'm quite sore today and I think it's going to take a while to build up my strength again. But I look forward to many more fun days at Burnley.

Edit: The post below probably does not really make sense as it was actually in reply to a post above that has since been deleted.

Heh heh I know I'd rather be out at Araps, but when you've got to work in the evening you can't exactly just pop out to Araps and back. Though many dismiss climbing on plastic, not everyone can get outdoors all the time - and when all is said and done, the Burnley wall is a great asset to the Melbourne climbing community.

FOUND: set of car keys at Burnley today (Sunday 24th). Give me a call 0419 586 227, otherwise I'll pass
them on to police or whoever you dispose of unwanted keys to on Wednesday next week.

I'm trying to track down and old friend I went to school with, his name was Alyosha Agudo, and I was just wondering if the Aly in this discussion ever went to school in Tamworth, NSW and is an exceptional at drawing? If so, so you please advise me how I can contact Aly?

Page 9 of this thread mentions that name, and lower in the page there are some photos...

It is an old thread, but there is a slim chance your subject reads Chockstone to find your request and follow up on it.
