Emergency warning for Vic range 7/1/14

Cherrypool and Glenisla crossing have been issued with an emergency warning this arvo from the fire heading east from the Black Range. That might suggest to some lateral thinkers that climbing in the Vic Range could be a very bad idea right now. Which sadly means I will have to change my plans to go to the Gallery tomorrow.

Plus there is also a fire near Syphon Rd in the Vic Range.
Hopefully the rain forecast over the next couple of days will dampen things down and put out more than the thunderstorms start.

Vic Range has copped enough. Hope the rain predictions come true, the wind preds on the BOM are way out where we are. Currently blowing 2 fires toward us but the BOM and CFA sites say it's blowing from a different direction.
