Well I do.
And I think it's now near $50 a day just to drive up Hotham. Bleh. I can park cheaper in the CBD.
I'm takin' my tele's elsewhere at that rate.

I know, I was absolutely shocked. I'm never skiing in a Victorian resort again. It stings because it doesn't go to Parks (resort land is managed by the RMB), it doesn't go to clearing the road (done by Vic roads) I called it the "Hotham F-k You Tax"

Next season I'll have my Aus skiing costs down to Nsw national parks passes & petrol. And lift tickets if I want.

Climbers and canyoners are pretty good at sniffing out free camping and we get a bit spoilt in the Blueys I reckon.

Actually, now to read this more carefully, if I can pay $700 for 90 days of skiing anywhere, I'm there.

Old thread old problem I'm sure but what the hell !!!! How am I supposed to know if I want to camp in the gums or the pines in two weeks time!!!! Am I reading things incorrectly or am in supposed to be a genie and know where the annoying people and the party is so far out from the actual date!

The party is always in the pines. The gums is a sun scorched dust bowl. When are things ever different?

Oh and the lower gums if you prefer going to bed at 8pm after half a glass of sherry....
