Shorty - For a snug fit try the inner tube of a mountain bike wheel.

I also would have thought you'd have probs getting the crotch of the tights to get all the way up to your actual crotch, which may have embarrassing consequences.

Far from it. Mikl reckons he has a few hundred slides to show, and we all know how long that could likely take when every one of them is likely to be a goldmine of Australian climbing folklore as exhibited here as a teaser...

I am just miffed that I can't attend this auspicious occasion, and figure some others might be in the same situation, but want to know what is going on ☺.

A word of warning because interest has been high, if seats fill up then we are trying to get the big screen @ Fed Square to show a live cross. Also, Mike has lost his voice so he will now be telling his story in interpretive dance. Should be even better.
