Climbing with the Stars

I have just read an article on a proposed new reality TV show called "Diving with the Stars".

So, I'm now going to pitch a few new reality TV shows that I would like to see.

1st, Climbing with the Stars. We get a bunch of stars and poke them up a few things. Hopefully some of them will have complete wobblers, which should make for good viewing.

2nd, Muay Thai with the stars. We get a bunch of stars and throw them in the ring with a few amphed up Muay Thia hard boys and sit back and watch them have the poo knocked out of them. I'll supply the beer.

Then Crocodile wrestling with the stars. We get a bunch of stars and throw them in a croc infested river and film the results.

The possibilities are endless.

I climbed next to Matt Segal today - what do I win?

Turns out he is loud and annoying.

With ideas like that, perhaps the possibilities are endless! Surely we would run out of stars very quickly? Maybe focus the selection of contestants to wanna-be stars and reality tv 'stars'... Just a thought

Let them ask a beginner question, or make an incorrect statement, and watch as we tear them apart;)

Of course, also...

"Big Bro"

Which is where ODH, Mikl, Wendy, M9, Miguel (+ who else?) are locked in a camera-ridden alpine hut in bad weather, with no food and see which single climber emerges...alive.

I actually participated in the Pilot episode for this series 2.5 years ago, when I first tried to lead Janicepts, having never ticked anything harder than a 19 on trad. Was hilarious for everyone at the crag except for my belayer.

Sadly, due to the amount of profanity and incidental nudity, the network didn't greenlight production of the series.

I just named a route called "so you think you can jamb"
But I think the big bro household is a winner as names for the show

Freak nasty that'd make for some pretty intense nude twister competitions;)

This idea has legs!!!

We could get Alan Wilkie in as Hut Warden and Robbie Allen in as chef.

We should talk Mr _M. I'll have my people call your people. We'll do lunch.

I recognised Tommy and Kieran (and Mikl, of course), but it's disturbing that I don't recognise anyone else. From that era I should know most people! :-(
