So I would like to give a big thanx to everyone who organized, funded and worked at this years beulah bouldering festival.
Thanx to Todd, steve, brendon, everyone who cooked pizzas (yum yum) everyone else that made this such a good weekend and of course cliff.
I am sure that the 250+ people who made the trip this year are very thankful as well.
The weather was super, the granite plentlyful and the good time didn't stop even after the sun went down.

It's was a great weekend. Glad you enjoyed it Ben. Nice work on your new routes as well.
The long slackine above the dam did not get sent. About 1/3rd across was the best.
Less than a year till next one. 31st March 2013.

Or - the classic neo-rock no. Baby Beluga by The Wiggles. (with original yellow Wiggle, Greg, not Sam the Usurper)

The rock festivus was freakin awesome! I was surprised at how well it was run and the pleasant laid back festival atmosphere. Didn't feel crowded at all.

Mega thanks to Todd and everyone! Special mention to the the volunteers making the free pizza on friday night, the guy from theCrag.com who spent all evening trying to record everyone's V0 doddles in the guide, and the construction of the toilets which were marvel of bush engineering:

I have a proper trip report which'll go up as soon as I get sent all the pics.

It was a festivus for the rest-of-us, and F#$king awesome at that!
Having never climbed granite slabs before ("what? That's not steep, that'll be a pushover") my mind is still in a state of post-blown uselessness from trying to grasp how a 70 degree angle can be so bloody hard to climb. Possibly the 151-proof rum and beer didn't help.
Todd, sponsors, and fellow climbers, thanks heaps for a wicked long weekend!
