this may be obvious or have been covered before but I couldnt find it.
How do I log out of chockstone so that someone else using the computer accessing chockstone does not automatically log in as me. I sometimes use a communal work computer which is also used by someone else who looks at chockstone. this means that they can post as me (which i know they wouldnt) or if they read posts they show up as already read etc..
the computer in question is a mac with internet explorer v5.1

Try disabling the automatic login (flag on your profile).

Are you getting your profile by clicking on the profile button above? (ie while you are looking at a thread). If so the flag should be the fourth item down. You won't see it if you just click on your login name in the author column.

my own computer has safari and the above didnt work so I had to manually delete the cookie under
preferences, security, cookies.
anyway this is not a problem for me I thought I would just point it out.
its probably not worth the trouble but a straightforward way of automatically loggin on a secure computer
while having a non reccuring login on non secure computers may be useful
