Hi there all, hoping someone can help me. I am wanting to replace the slings on my cams. Does anyone know who can do this? Thanks.

Previous thread about a company in NZ that is (was?) doing it:

Alternatively, you could do it yourself with 7mm cord (or perhaps 15mm webbing) tied in a dogvine knot:

I've heard there is a place in New Zealand that does it.
Edit:
Beat me to it!

Aspiring in NZ did my cams a couple of years ago, good service and price; slings are still going strong.

If they're BD cams, post them to them. You need to email them first to get a number to write on the packaging. You pay for postage there, they resling them for free and post back at no charge. Thanks BD for supporting your international customers like this!!
Cost me ~$50 to get 9 cams reslung.

Yes, contacted BD and found this to be true. At first I found it hard to believe.
Thanks.

I've managed to resling mine using short spectra slings - a doubled piece will go through a small eye, or I either double it over or larksfoot the cable on that style. Given the original pieces had a single piece of nylon in the same place, I'm happy to use them. I've found material in the past which indicated it should be stronger than the cable, but can't find it now. That said, I've never actually tested them to failure, so it may not be entirely suitable.
Note that spectra has much lower elasticity than nylon, which can lead to bigger impacts. However, I'm not falling directly on to that sling, but rather a nylon rope running through the piece.
