Stolen Crash Pad, Trackside

We stashed our pad at Trackside in the Grampians on Saturday afternoon (9April) while we climbed for a few hours up at Taipan Wall. When we came back the pad was gone!
It was well hidden in the forest off the main path. Only very lost bushwalkers or boulderers are likely to have spotted it. It's a Black Diamond Impact pad, black with an orange face, 12 months old.
If you have seen it- or some dodgy people sporting an 'old' new bouldering pad, please PM.

Pretty poor form really. All you climbers should know better!!

We have a pretty good idea who took the pad too (The couple bouldering at Taipan on Saturday with no crashpad!!!)... Just return it to it's rightful owners and you may well avoid the lynching!!

I'm amazed someone would even consider stealing this? A bit hard to hide on the walk out! Could rangers have removed it? Anyone rung them?

Steve, did you give us a jump start in the Mt Zero car park Sat morning? Thanks again if you did. Sorry it happened to you either way and I hope the thief falls, misses the pad and break their coccyx. Months of not being able to sit properly will learn 'em.

Hey Gav how do you feel about people that leave their pads lying at the pines for a month and then want it back?

Karma will get them in the end, if not in this life then in the next. Hey, what do boulderers come back as after reincarnation?

All in humor. Just finished attacking myself on another thread, sharing the love.

I enjoy a bit of self deprecation, and flagellation (not the botanical, erotic or biological version though. Just the good old scourging of ones self). That's what makes me such a bad Christian....

Thanks for the link Andrew. I have reported the author to the relevant department within the church. That should take care of another dissenter...;)

And if my Bishop ask any of you, I'm not interesting at all.
