Hey guys,

Stupidly managed to strain something in my wrist climbing yesterday. A bit of net research indicates that it is most likely a mild damage to the tendons which control the fingers (flexor/tensor????). I still have full movement of all my fingers, but have some dull pain/discomfort when I move some of my fingers in certain combinations (eg if I point my index finger and middle finger like a gun and move my thumb I feel the worst pain, however the same movement of my thumb without the fingers pointed produces no pain or discomfort).

Given that I still have full range of movement of my fingers, all the available advice seems to point towards treatment like any other sprain (RICER).

Has anyone had anything like this before? Any idea on how long this might take to recover...

Perhaps maybe you should possibly consider getting someone to take a look at it..
