Currently a search under way for Michael Bishop, who media state is an Australian climber.

Hopefully a fit confident party have raced up to Teichelmann's corner today to check for a trace of the missing climbers in the upper Linda, because the weather's gonna close in, with heavy rain and gales overnight, so a helicopter search will not be possible tomorrow.

But fingers are certainly being crossed here.

a helicopter pilot who flew over the Linda glacier observed signs of a large ice avalanche, and no trace was seen of the 3 missing climbers.

I feel for the friends and family of the missing.

Looks like the search has now been called off so looks like sad news for all involved.
