Just found this snippet about a fall today;
http://mobile.news.com.au/national/queensland/woman-critically-injured-after-15m-fall-down-cliff-face-at-mt-maroon/story-fnii5v6w-1226921899210
Thoughts and prayers for all involved, hopefully a positive ending for the climber and her friends.
One person quoted in the article said they'd performed three rescues in the area in the last 12 months. Is it a pretty serious area?

ruby of india wanders around a bit, so if you hadn't climbed it before, you could get into some choss or blank areas. good thing they were able to ring for some help; it's a bit of walk back to the carpark for mobile reception.

Thoughts go out to the climbers friends and family. Looks like they did the initial lift just clipping into her harness? Looks awkward as anything.
The other two rescues mentioned in the article aren't at Maroon... One is of a (probable) hiker at lamington falling down a waterfall. The other is maybe referencing a terrible incident at Mt. Greville. This wasn't within the last 12 months though.

Yeah, coming from Blueys trad-venture multipitching, I was surprised at how little "actual info" readily available about Ruby of India. I can see why it would be easy to get into strife.
My memory of the "choose your own adventure" pitch 4 was looking at the obvious (easier) corner that I assume everyone climbs, and deciding to climb a vague seam to the right instead... before realising it didn't take any gear all the way to the end of the pitch.
