hi there - i've left this too late, now i can't find the right contacts, and i'm desperate !!! - please would you be so kind as to post this message to any rock climbing mailing lists that you are aware of - you help would be very greatly appreciated. many thanks, gavin peckham.

I'll be in Melbourne from 20 May to 13 June with a just over a week in Canberra from 25 May to 05 June. I am on a shoestring budget but am desperate to climb some Australian rock before returning to South Africa. I'll only be free during week days, due to social obligations over the weekends. I'm a 55 year old geriatric male with more enthusiasm than ability - can lead grades up to about 14 (if I understand your grading system properly) and follow up to about 16. ANY outdoor climbing will do, sport or trad - will have my own harness and shoes. Despite my limited resources, I'm happy to cover ALL out-of-pocket expenses to anybody who can help me.
