Does anyone have contact details for the climbers Digby Gotts and David Watson? They were on the first ascent of Cleft Island (Skull Rock) off the coast of Wilsons Promontory in 1972. A production company is keen to hear more about their experiences exploring the island. Please PM me their details. Cheers, Simon.

Whoah, I met Digby about 15 years ago on an aimless trip up north. There are some spectacular black granite tors on the very high ridge (1000m) up behind his place. I'd done the walk up the ridge in the morning, then dropped in to his fruit farm in the arvo. He mentioned that he used to climb and that he was keen to have a crack at the summit blocks if I ever came back with gear.......I never went back.
Super nice bloke, has some odd fruit

I caught up with Digby last year. I visit his fruit farm every time I head up that way, he's a real character. Still looks as fit as a 20 year old at 60. I can't recommend his fruit tasting and farm tour highly enough for anyone up that way, it's a great way to spend a few hours. I didn't even know he climbed..
