My climbing partner is OS for a couple of months and I am looking for people to climb around Sydney area, or further (e.g. Araps). I enjoy sport and trad and have experience canyoning, trad climbing, etc.

I m not 100% fit so only climbing moderate grade trad, and some sport (<20grade), so looking for some fun times as opposed to epics. I have a car, rack and rope so all you need is harness and willingness to cover some fuel costs!

If you're interested let me know and we can meet at St Peters for a chat.

Hi,

I'm Jan, I'm from Belgium, and be in the area of Sydney next week. I don'y have my belt with me, cause it was to heavy to carry along all the way ( have been backpacking trough Australia) but that could be solved. I like to do some climbing around Sydney, Blue Mountains, and I' willingly to share the gas.

Let me know, what you think.

Brgds,

Jan

hello anchor2. I am staying in Horsham now. Climbing gramps/araps. My partner is leaving soon but I would like to stay longer. I could hang out as long as Dec. 5th and belay for you and rope gun for you. I have a full rack/rope as well. It would be awesome to partner with you especially if I could catch a ride back to Sydney with you after and split your petrol costs. Does that timing suit you at all? I'll be here for you when you arrive. I will likely camp at Pines in Araps while we climb, then head to Sydney 5th or 6th (or earlier if you're keen but I can't do later). email direct at jonmichaelgraham@gmail.com

Yo there!

I'm new in the area, just got over from England and dying to do some climbing. I ain't great at climbing myself but would rather just share the experience and have a laugh. I've got my own
Harness and quick draws but left my trad stuff in England. I'm more than willing to share the fuel costs as well. Either way I'm here till august next year mate so I'm in for the long hall. I'd be happy to meet you at St Peters climbing gym if you're interested, take it easy.

Looks like you have a few options already. But if you find your self lacking a climbing partner feel free to drop me a line.

I am over from the UK for my work till late next year, got my basic trad rack and rope but no car over here, but happy to share any costs.

@anchor, @bibbister,

I'm in Sydney on a work trip and eager to climb this weekend (Dec 17/18); let me know if you're keen and available - david(d0t)acott(at)gmail,com

I've packed the personal basics (harness, shoes) but no rack, rope or draws.

DA.

Me too all, from 27th Dec to 3rd Jan. Anything on the north side would be good. Will probably try to catch up with Dave K (lives near my parents' place at Clontarf) so if anyone is keen for some weird Sydney bouldering let me know...
