Seems like today must have been the first rainy day since I was in Getu eight months ago.
I've procrastinated through enough of them, decided to run a marathon, and now feel incredibly forearm-weak since reminiscing days of onsighting over my current limit. Or eating as many Baozi as my hardest tick of the day.
The good stuff at vertical life is motivation to write more.
If it stays wet I'll get onto Leye, LiMing....

Hey Ryan looks like fun..
I am in KL in a couple of days so I thought I may check out batu caves? Are they hard to get to or worth the effort? Any online guide? Cheers champ..

yeah Ben, check out http://verticale.my/ they have a shop past the tourist section of the caves, in Batu Caves town/shopping region, you can walk there in 25-30 mins from the train. I remember doing a lot of googling and might have found some vague online topo, or stuff on sites like Mountain Project or Rockclimbing.com but there is an old and outdated Climb Malaysia book that is best. The guys at Verticale usually go out Saturday mornings with their girlfriends for fun session and a good dinner afterwards.
