Not enough time for a real TR, but I thought I'd post some photos from last weekend's bouldering trip to Bishop. Yeah yeah I know Facebook sux, but it was the easiest option at the time.
In short the trip was excellent! The Happy Boulders are superb; it's a very concentrated area and the problems are all really fun - generally big moves on positive holds, with (mostly) great landings. If you get the chance they're well worth a visit (or several)!

A facepalm?
Yeah that is appropriate as I see the awesomeness of it, ie the pm pose not the post.
On that basis, you should have given a facepalm to philipivan for a similar pic in his trip report.
You are getting inconsistent in your olding age M9.

I recently tried some aid climbing and apparently it reverted my IQ to that of a 3yo in a candy store. ;-)

Nah they're barely rock - they were formed by underwater hot springs, before Los Angeles stole all of the water going into the lake and it dried out, revealing the tufas. Plus most of them are less than 5m high.

It really is - Hwy 395 is up there with Bell's Line of Road as the most beautiful roads I've ever traveled on.

It really is a beaut. I used to do the SLC - Mammoth drive fairly often and always looked forward to it.

Good one(!), ~> as that leaves plenty of room for progression.
