Does anyone know who is behind the soon-to-be-opened Umbrella Nine bouldering gym at Warringah Mall?
It's going to be my new closest gym but... $20 an hour for bouldering..

In an increasingly competitive market, they may struggle to charge an hourly rate.
Unsure about Sydney but I think by mid 2020 Melbourne will have 15 climbing gyms, 7 of which are solely bouldering. On top of that we have 2 outdoor bouldering walls and 4 of those 'clip n climb' novelty childrens gyms.

Maybe all the competition will result in an affordable indoor boulder session. The price of an indoor boulder session has doubled in ten years. Impressive gyms none the less. The hourly time limit is weird. Sounds like a creche.

The website says there is no enforcement of the hour limit.
I suspect the plethora of gyms will send many of them out of business.

Not sure from your other posts about your blasé sport ethic of bolting or climbing TO significant places though.

That would be painstakingly slow. Like a certain Monty Python sketch.
