Hi , does anyone know if the road to Mountain Lion near Chimney pots is open. Also where do you park.

I haven't heard anything to say it isn't ... It is theoretically in the open area so for all intents and purposes, should be open. Do you have the second edition of the gramps select guide? That has access instructions. The pull out isn't super obvious (unless it's grown from use since I was last there) but the track was a reasonable foot pad so if you find yourself bush bashing, you're not in the right place.

Yes it's open. I haven't been along there since the fires so don't know how obvious the pullout is. It used to be sign-posted but I assume that's gone.

We went to the Mountain Lion November - track was hard to find and the signs were definitely gone. Apart from getting a bit black walking in and out it was otherwise fine. Not sure if it was re-burnt in the January/Feb fires though.

Thanks guys, was going there today but Popeye decided to go on a bender. Will have to go bouldering instead.

Anyone know in the steep overhanging wall on the walk into the main area if the boulder problem (that looks V13 plus) has been done? I'm trying to write up a guide for the problems in the area.
