I had a look at the bouldering at Anna Bay on the weekend - some really cool looking highballs on good looking rock. It was a bit too wild for me to bother putting my shoes on, but I'm planning to go back next weekend for a play. Is there any kind of guide to what's been done on these blocs?

Thanks, yeah I had seen that, but there isn't much detail. I assume pretty much all of it's been done - just interested to know if anybody wrote it down

There is also a printed guide for the area
Rockclimbing in the Hunter Valley...but not sure if it is still in print..some of the Newy locals should know?

I had a play there awhile ago. Good fun but very gnarly landings if you come off.

The docks at boat harbour is in the hunter valley guide
Pulse climbing may have a copy or two for sale
As long as you have a few pads and a couple of good spoters you will be good with the high balls
Fun spot

There's a new Hunter Valley guide coming out soon - it could be worth waiting for that. It was supposed to be out about now, but last I heard Tim was a bit behind schedule.
If you just head down to the Docks and have a look around you should find plenty to climb. I've got no plans for Sat, so me and a few other locals I know could be up for joining you???
