I was wondering if any one had climbed at Sailors falls near Daylesford? I was driving by today and thought I would have a better look and although not to tall and the odd loose rock it looked like a bit of fun if close by. Also anyone know the rock type?
Cheers

Probably Newer Volcanics (Basalt). Same age as lava plains in the west of Melbourne.
Possibly the significantly older Castlemaine Subgroup (Sandstone, Shales etc) but I understand the falls itself is Basalt..
