So... thinking of somewhere to climb with tommorrow's "gale-force" southerlies....
Logan Brae, Big Top..... Anybody got any ideas? We need single pitch (taking my 3 year old along).

Isnt that west facing???...on top of a hill in Southern Highlands....yep bound to be nice and cosy.

Mt Alex is very sheltered and sunny, close to tea roooms etc.

Depend on wind direction wouldn't it??...I cant really recall as only been there on calm days...doubt its sunny today though either way.

Not Blueys proper, but Wingello would probably fit your criteria.

Well... the winds didn't happen, and Shipley was absolutely brilliant, like on any sunny winter day!
The new version of Iron Mike got two more ticks from Karen and Corrinne, who successfully showed up their husbands (Julian and I both got a spanking, though mine was worse!).
For the record, a few more North facing crags.....Boganville, Redledge (if you can get the crag info), Mt. Blackheath (if you can find the routes).

Yeah I think it was a year ago or so that a hold was pulled off the crux.
