Howdy all,

Am curious has anyone from the forum climbed at Table Mountain in South Africa. What was it like i.e. is it a climbing destination or just worth a few days of your time?

I haven't climbed on Table Mountain (the weather was shit) but there are heaps of other quality single pitch crags down lower in the foothills of Cape Town. Arapiles quality rock and lots of bolts. Personal safety is a bit of an issue climbing there though. A bit scary if there is only two of you.

I know there is a route that follows the chairlift. It has been known to be climbed without clothes in order to entertain those in the chairlift...
